Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy in Tampa, FL

Restore Balance with BHRT for Women

At Vital Advanced Medical Center, we understand that hormone imbalances can disrupt every part of a woman’s life—from energy and mood to weight and sleep. That’s why we offer bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) in Tampa as part of our comprehensive women’s health services.

BHRT uses plant-derived hormones that are chemically identical to those produced by your body. This natural approach allows for more precise balancing, helping women manage symptoms of perimenopause, menopause, and other hormone-related conditions.

What Is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy?

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) is designed to restore hormone levels that decline with age or become imbalanced. Unlike synthetic hormones, bioidentical hormones have the same molecular structure as those naturally made by your body, which may improve compatibility and effectiveness.

BHRT may be delivered through pellets, creams, injectables, pills or other customized formulations based on your needs. Our providers carefully evaluate your health history, lab results, and symptoms to create a treatment plan tailored just for you.

Signs You May Benefit from BHRT

Women often seek hormone therapy when they experience:

Many women notice changes in their health and daily comfort as they approach perimenopause, menopause, or even during other times of hormonal imbalance. Symptoms can range from subtle shifts in energy and mood to more disruptive issues that interfere with sleep, relationships, and overall vitality. These changes are often tied to declining or fluctuating hormone levels, which can impact both physical and emotional well-being. That’s why so many women explore bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) as a way to feel like themselves again.

Signs of Hormone Imbalance in Women

Hormone fluctuations can happen at any stage of life—not just during menopause. When levels shift out of balance, women often experience changes that affect energy, mood, and overall wellness. These symptoms are sometimes dismissed as stress or aging, but they may actually signal a hormone imbalance.

Common signs include:

  • Hot flashes and night sweats
  • Fatigue or lack of energy
  • Unexplained weight gain, especially around the midsection
  • Mood swings, irritability, or anxiety
  • Trouble sleeping or restless nights
  • Brain fog, memory lapses, or poor focus
  • Irregular or heavy menstrual cycles (before menopause)
  • Low libido or changes in sexual wellness

If you’re noticing several of these symptoms, it may be time for a women’s health evaluation. Our providers can assess hormone levels and recommend bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) or other treatment options to help restore balance.

Dr. Kenneth Argote, APRN, FNP-C

Family Nurse Practitioner

“I grew tired of the traditional model of primary care. Patients deserve excellent, affordable care—delivered when they need it, not weeks later.”

Dr. Kenneth Argote is a board-certified, doctorally prepared Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 12 years of experience. He began his career at the University of South Florida, earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors before working in the Emergency Department and cardiac unit. His time caring for acutely ill patients sparked a realization: many hospitalizations could have been prevented with better primary care.

Motivated by this vision, he returned to USF to complete his Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Primary Care in 2014, followed by his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2019. Over the years, Dr. Argote has provided preventive, acute, and chronic care for patients of all ages while growing increasingly frustrated with how traditional insurance models limit patient outcomes.

In 2021, he founded Vital Advanced Medical Center to create a better way forward through Direct Primary Care—removing barriers, putting patients first, and providing care that is both high-quality and affordable. Today, he continues to lead the practice with a focus on whole-person health and long-term relationships.
