Clear answers for energy, performance, and long-term health

Could Your Symptoms Signal a Health Issue?

A change in energy, strength, concentration, weight, libido, or sexual performance can have several possible causes. Hormones may be involved, but so can sleep quality, stress, blood pressure, blood sugar, medications, and underlying medical conditions. Guessing based on one symptom often leads men toward the wrong treatment. Vital Advanced Medical Center serves men from Hillsborough who want a structured evaluation. The provider reviews how symptoms affect daily life, when they started, and whether they occur alongside mood, sleep, exercise, or metabolic changes. Medical history and laboratory findings are used to narrow the possibilities and identify what needs attention first. This approach prevents every concern from being reduced to Low T or age.

Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) in Hillsborough, FL

Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) is a medical treatment for men whose symptoms and laboratory findings support testosterone deficiency. Symptoms may include low libido, fatigue, reduced muscle, increased body fat, mood changes, or difficulty concentrating. Because those concerns are not unique to Low T, testing and clinical review should come before treatment. Vital Advanced Medical Center creates TRT plans around the patient’s health history, goals, and lab results. Treatment options may include testosterone injections or transdermal gels. The provider considers existing conditions, medications, fertility goals, and individual response when recommending a method. Monitoring helps keep treatment safe and useful. Follow-up appointments and repeat laboratory work allow the provider to review symptom changes, hormone levels, and potential side effects. Adjustments are made when the evidence supports them.

Erectile Dysfunction (ED) Treatment in Hillsborough, FL

Erectile Dysfunction (ED) Treatment is most effective when care addresses why erections have changed. Persistent ED may be related to blood vessel health, diabetes, hypertension, medication effects, low testosterone, anxiety, depression, sleep problems, or lifestyle factors. Sometimes several contributors are present at once. Vital Advanced Medical Center provides a confidential evaluation for men from Hillsborough, FL. The provider reviews the pattern of symptoms, current medications, medical conditions, libido, and cardiovascular risks. Depending on the findings, treatment may include prescription medication, hormone testing, lifestyle support, or improved management of a related condition. ED deserves medical attention even when the immediate concern is performance. Erectile changes can appear before other symptoms of vascular or metabolic disease. A complete review can therefore support sexual confidence while identifying health risks that should not be ignored.

Proactive Men's Health Care in Hillsborough, FL

A men’s health plan should connect today’s symptoms with future risk. Blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, body weight, sleep, mood, and family history all influence energy, sexual function, cardiovascular health, and how well you age. Reviewing those areas together makes the plan more useful than treating each concern in a separate visit. For Hillsborough, FL patients, Vital Advanced Medical Center can combine men’s health evaluation with preventive and primary care support. A visit may uncover overdue screening needs, medication interactions, or patterns that explain why progress has stalled. The provider can then prioritize the most important next step rather than recommending several disconnected services. Planning also means setting realistic checkpoints. If treatment begins, follow-up should show whether symptoms, laboratory values, or health risks are improving.

Choose Care Based on Evidence, Not Guesswork

Health advice is only useful when it fits your medical needs and daily routine. A plan that requires unrealistic changes or promises immediate results is difficult to sustain. Men’s health care should instead identify the few actions most likely to improve how you feel and reduce risk. Vital Advanced Medical Center may recommend testing, TRT, ED treatment, preventive screening, chronic condition management, weight support, or changes to sleep and activity. The combination depends on what the evaluation shows. Each recommendation should have a clear purpose, expected outcome, and follow-up point. Schedule an appointment when symptoms continue, recur, or affect work, exercise, confidence, or relationships. Bring your medication list, previous results, and questions about treatment.

Vital Advanced Medical Center Men's Health Care FAQ's

How often should men have preventive health checks?

Most men benefit from regular preventive visits, but timing depends on age, medical history, family risks, medications, and current conditions. Your provider can recommend a schedule based on those factors.

Can weight gain and low testosterone occur together?

Yes. Body composition and hormone health can influence each other, but weight gain does not prove Low T. A clinical review and laboratory testing are needed before considering TRT.

Are erectile dysfunction medications safe for everyone?

No single ED treatment is appropriate for every patient. Your provider must review cardiovascular history, blood pressure, current medications, and possible interactions before recommending prescription therapy.

Does Vital Advanced Medical Center offer bilingual care?

Yes. The clinic reports that its staff provides care in English and Spanish, helping patients discuss symptoms, testing, and treatment in the language they prefer.

Can telemedicine be used for men’s health follow-up?

Some consultations or follow-up discussions may be appropriate virtually, while physical exams, laboratory work, or certain assessments may require an in-person visit. The clinic can guide scheduling.

Dr. Kenneth Argote, APRN, FNP-C

Family Nurse Practitioner

“I grew tired of the traditional model of primary care. Patients deserve excellent, affordable care—delivered when they need it, not weeks later.”

Dr. Kenneth Argote is a board-certified, doctorally prepared Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 12 years of experience. He began his career at the University of South Florida, earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors before working in the Emergency Department and cardiac unit. His time caring for acutely ill patients sparked a realization: many hospitalizations could have been prevented with better primary care.

Motivated by this vision, he returned to USF to complete his Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Primary Care in 2014, followed by his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2019. Over the years, Dr. Argote has provided preventive, acute, and chronic care for patients of all ages while growing increasingly frustrated with how traditional insurance models limit patient outcomes.

In 2021, he founded Vital Advanced Medical Center to create a better way forward through Direct Primary Care—removing barriers, putting patients first, and providing care that is both high-quality and affordable. Today, he continues to lead the practice with a focus on whole-person health and long-term relationships.
